Suppliers & Vendors with the PSL+ Integration

Suppliers and vendors can synchronize between DPO and PSL+. However, there are some important best practices to follow.

Recommended Supplier Setup

Whenever possible, set up vendors in PSL+ first.
PSL+ contains additional vendor information, including tax-related information that is not available in DPO.

Suppliers Created in DPO

Depending on the P.O. Book settings and user permissions, suppliers can also be created directly in DPO.

There are two ways a supplier can be created:

1. While creating a P.O. – If supplier creation is enabled for the P.O. Book, users can create a new supplier directly during the P.O. creation process.
2. Through Supplier Management – Selected users can be given a dedicated user role that allows them to manage suppliers in DPO without requiring access to all administrative settings.

When a newly created supplier is used on a P.O., the supplier is synchronized with PSL+ as part of the P.O. synchronization.

Best Practices

• Create vendors in PSL+ early whenever possible.
• Avoid bulk-importing suppliers directly into DPO for a PSL+-integrated book.
• Enter only one primary email address per supplier in DPO.
• Default coding configured on a PSL+ vendor record does not automatically populate P.O. or invoice transactions in DPO.

Supplier Not Appearing in DPO

If a supplier created in PSL+ is not visible in DPO, this may be because the DPO book is configured to require certain supplier information, such as an address or email address.

Check the following:

1. Check that the supplier in PSL+ has a complete address, including:
2. • Street
   • ZIP / Postal Code
   • City
   • Country
2. Make sure the supplier has a valid email address.
3. Clear the integration-related cache.
4. Refresh DPO.
5. If the supplier is still not visible, contact your DPO Administrator or Support.
