PSL+ Synchronization & Resync

DPO administrators can monitor and manage synchronization between DPO and PSL+.

Check the Sync Status on a P.O. or Invoice

DPO displays the Sync Status directly on the P.O. or invoice when synchronization cannot currently be completed.
The message can indicate what is preventing the sync and whether any action is required.

Examples include:

  • P.O.s have not been fully approved
  • Project is paused. Sync of this P.O. will resume automatically once the project is active again.
  • Project is paused. Sync of this Invoice will resume automatically once the project is active again.
  • Complete the account assignment. Sync will resume automatically.
  • Email address is required. Please update the vendor master data and re-trigger the P.O. sync to PSL.
  • Country in address is required. Please update the vendor master data and re-trigger the P.O. sync to PSL.
  • Supplier is deleted in PSL. Please amend the P.O. and select a different supplier.
  • Synchronization to PSL failed.

Synchronization History

  1. Go to: Settings → PSL+ → Show History
  2. Here, administrators can review synchronization activity, including:
  • Completed tasks
  • Queued tasks
  • Failed tasks
  • P.O. numbers
  • PSL+ reference numbers
  • DPO P.O. IDs
  • Task status and actions
  • Batch numbers
  • Detailed synchronization history

Show Synced Tasks

Use Show Synced Tasks to search for a specific P.O. and review its synchronization information.

  1. Open Settings → PSL+ → Show History
  2. Select Show Synced Tasks
  3. Search for the relevant P.O. number
  4. Click Show Details to view additional information

Failed or Queued Tasks

If a task has failed:

  1. Open Show History
  2. Locate the relevant task
  3. Click Show Details
  4. Review the error information
  5. Click Requeue Now if required

Recommended Troubleshooting Process

  1. First: Open the affected P.O. or invoice and check the Sync Status displayed directly on the document.
  2. Second: Correct the issue based on the information shown, for example by completing missing supplier or accounting information.
  3. Third: If required, go to Settings → PSL+ → Show History to view additional synchronization details or re-trigger the synchronization after the issue has been corrected.

Tip: It is common to see a “Created Failed” status when the required account coding has not yet been completed.

In this case, no manual re-trigger is normally required. Once the missing account coding is entered in DPO, synchronization will automatically retry.

Unsynced Objects

If a P.O. is unsynchronized without a failed task:

  1. Open Show History
  2. Select Show Unsynced Objects
  3. Locate the relevant P.O.
  4. Click Queue Now

Resync Project Settings

Use Resync when accounting information has changed in PSL+ and needs to be refreshed in DPO.
This can update information such as:

  • Account Codes
  • Set Codes
  • Series Codes
  • Location Codes
  • Insurance Codes
  • Free Field Codes
  • Currency Codes

Pause or Resume Synchronization

Administrators can temporarily pause or resume automatic synchronization between PSL+ and DPO.
