Account Settings in DPO
In the Account Settings of DPO, you can customize your profile and configure basic settings. This includes selecting the language, adjusting notifications, and managing your account information. This guide will show you how to quickly and easily configure your personal preferences.
Customize the DPO Menu Bar
You can customize your DPO menu bar and display only the sections you actually need.
How it works
- Click “More” in the left menu
- You can now:
- use the stars to show or hide tabs
- change the order of the tabs by dragging them from the right side and moving them into the desired position

Accessing Personal Settings
Once you have been assigned to a project (DPO book), you can manage your personal data.
How to access your settings:
- Click on the profile icon in the top right corner
- Select "Account Settings" from the menu

Profile & Account Details
In this section, you can:
- Upload a profile picture
- Change your name
- Add company information and phone number
- Update your password

Configure Notifications
Under "Settings" (left menu), you can choose which events trigger email notifications, such as:
- When an approval is required or granted
- When an item is expiring
- When new comments are added to your P.O.s, Invoices or Expenses
- Change Language & Currency
Change Language & Currency
DPO supports multiple languages and currencies. Under "Settings", you can customize both:
- Select language and region
- Set the default currency

Switch the Design
You can switch between the new and the legacy DPO design at any time.
How it works
- Enable the switch “Legacy DPO Design”
- Click “Save”
Note: Changing the design will automatically reload the DPO application.

Configure MFA
Set up multi-factor authentication for your account.

Delete Account
No longer need access to DPO?
- Go to "Delete Account" in the left menu and confirm the action. Your account will be permanently deleted.
