Invoice Inbox
The Invoice Inbox is the central hub for receiving supplier invoices, ideal for digital and remote workflows. Suppliers can email invoices directly to DPO, where they’re collected for the accounting team to review. Invoices are first checked here before being matched (if P.O.s are active) or approved, ensuring only verified invoices move into the approval workflow.
First Steps for Invoices in DPO
After your project was set up, we sent you your invoice email address. If you haven’t received it or can’t find it anymore, it can be found under Invoice Settings.

Simply forward invoices to this address to upload them into DPO.

Invoice Inbox Overview
- Displays new and unprocessed invoices that have been submitted but not yet matched or approved
- Invoices are automatically sorted by submission date (most recent at the top by default)
- Clearly shows who submitted the invoice into the system via email
Review Invoices in the Invoice Inbox
Navigate to the Invoices tab by clicking the triangle icon and select the **Invoice Inbox **tab. You will see a list of invoices that have not yet been validated or saved to your data archive. From here, you can open an invoice to begin validation or remove it from the list by clicking the trash icon on the right-hand side.

Sort and Search Options
Offers multiple sorting options, including:
- Ascending or descending order
- By sender
- By supplier
- By date
- Supplier name
- Submission date
- Sender identity

Don’t See the Invoice Inbox Tab?
If the “Invoice Inbox” tab is not visible, you likely do not have the required permission.
Step 1 (For non-admin users):
Contact your DPO Book Administrator to request access.
Step 3 (For admin users):
Navigate to Admin → Users, open the relevant user profile, and go to Permissions. Enable the Can manage invoices checkbox, then click Save to confirm your changes.
